Announcing our 2020 Annual Member Meeting

The 2020 GRCA Annual Member Meeting (AMM) will take place on Saturday, May 16th from 12:00 to 2:00 PM EDT

Dear Membership,

With the cancellation of the 2020 Girls Rock Camp Alliance Conference, we are moving forward with our first ever virtual Annual Member Meeting (AMM)! The 2020 AMM is scheduled for Saturday, May 16th from 12:00 to 2:00 PM EDT. This is an exciting change that will enable greater accessibility and participation in the AMM. While members have always had the opportunity to participate in the AMM remotely, we believe fully shifting to remote participation will ensure wider participation!

The Annual Member Meeting (AMM) is a formal meeting for our members where we review the year that has passed, set priorities for the coming year, elect members to the GRCA Board, Nominations Committee, and Caucus Advisory Council, and vote on proposals to the GRCA!

Because of the new, virtual setting, we are modifying some of our standing procedures:

• First, registration for the AMM will open on April 16th and close on May 1st

• Second, voting for the AMM will open on May 1st through a Google Form Ballot and close 24 hours prior to the AMM at 12:00 PM EDT on May 15th

• Member camps/organizations will submit their votes PRIOR to the AMM and votes will be published at the AMM as we aim to be as transparent as possible with this modified process
